Your Inner Book-keeperis the part of you that somehow knows roughly what you are spending, what your budget is if you have one, how much is coming in, what you should spend money on, and what you shouldn’t. She or he is also likely to tell you off if you overspend, or spend on something it considers to be wasteful; and rarely compliment you on anything other than when money comes in! Your Inner Book-keeper also likes to daydream about receiving large sums of money – or even just enough to get you what you want. Do you recognize this?
If so, then you’ll want to know whether you (the real you) is in charge of this book-keeper, or whether you’re being held hostage by him/her.
In the Western world, the word ‘rich’ is taken to mean having plenty of material possessions, be it property, cash, goods of other kinds; and words associated with this would be opulent, extravagant, wealthy, affluent, etc.

Cancer. The very word can cause fear and constriction. Despite many people learning to live successfully with cancer, it is still thought of as a merciless killer in many respects. What has this got to do with your business? Well, nothing, at least nothing to do with your business I hope.
But it’ s a lot to do with mine, because my husband has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Fortunately caught relatively early, and it’ s treatable, but still, a very serious life threatening illness. Talk about an opportunity to think rich! (Ironic laugh from me here). Continue reading →
